lalalala life is wonderful asked: HI, my grandma is going to get her colon removed on April 1st. She will have to have a colostomy bag. I want to make her a little reading material on what to expect after this procedure.
Does anyone have any little facts or findings form either their own personal experience with this or know of any. Thanks!

eve asked: I’ve heard detoxing your body such as the colons and liver can improve your skin because your skin is basically an organ that removes things from your body too and that’s why we have pores.
How can I detox at home and clean out my colon without buying pills or anything? Does fasting work? Thanks!

Laura asked: I’ve heard that green tea cleans your colon out, and helps flush your system, but what kind of green tea? The bottled kind? Or tea bags? Can you add sugar or cinnamon, or does that make it ineffective? What other foods will help?

kavalamyself asked: Thought I had a hernia, but CT scan showed bleeding in the colon and anemia. More tests in a week… Doc said maybe Crohns disease, but I don’t seem to have the classic symptoms. Could this be a lot worse?

Shannon W asked: I was diagnosed 6 months ago with Crohns Disease. By the time of my diagnosis, my colon had already abscessed and perforated and I had to have surgery to remove 3 feet of my colon. What symptoms should I keep an eye out for in order to prevent this from going so far again?

cranky_gut asked: I have had IBS for 3 years. If I did not have kids I would cut out my own colon. I’m that desperate. I have eliminated everything from my diet. (I survive on toast only and yes i eliminated toast for over a week so it can’t be that.) I want to find a doctor to give me a colostomy. My kids are 8, 6, and 4 year old twins. Don’t blame the kids. I wonder if the ob did something wrong when the twins were born by c-section because my back hurt for a year after they were born. As soon as my back stopped hurting my IBS started. I have tried everything, medicines, natural remedies nothing works. I have given up on doc’s. Don’t say it’s stress. IBS is my only stress factor. I’m happy and calm as long as I’m not spending the day in the bathroom. By the way I have diarrhea about 5 days a month. (down fron 20 two years ago) and I’m never constipated. Please help.
