It’s just that i’ve read…a lot of places that the pill is absorbed through the digestive system and if diarrhoea occurs, the pill will not have a chance to be absorbed.

I know that eating whole grain will help lower the bad cholesterol, but for my sister who has Irritable Bowel Syndrome (whenever she eats whole grain, she gets diarrhea.), she has to stick with her white bread diet. At the same time her bad cholesterl is way too high. IAre there other ways to lower the bad cholesterol?

This is embarrasing but I found that if I get everything out of my system I will be left with no energy to run…. A good run is uplifting and I will be even more upset if I can’t run….please help me out here. Thanks!

Hi, I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which I only just learned about recently. After years of suffering and testing at my GI’s office, we have to come to attribute my condition to IBS. I am trying to eat safer foods, but have put on some weight with all the breads that I chose (breads are safer).

I would love to eat some healthier foods, but those are the gasiest for me (fruits, vegetables, salads). Does anybody who is also suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome have any ideas for foods that I can eat?

the vet gave it injections (I don’t know what) and I tried oral medications like bactrim, dexamethsone, augumentin and all that. And no milk. But there is no real improvement. What else can I do?
What I’m asking for is some advice from someone with hands on experience since this proves more useful than what a vet says.
